What kind of insulation do you use in a cold room / freezer panels?
Our panels are filled with CFC and HCFC free two-component polyurethane foam. Rigid polyurethane (PUR) foam shows its versatility through excellent chemical and physical properties, both of which enable it to be used in a wide variety of multi-functional cold room / freezer / cooled products which have high demand for insulation.

How long does installation take normally?
Of course it depends on the cold room type and its dimension. Up to 15m3 we usually finish the installation in one day.

How do you deliver a cold room to the end-user’s site?
In most cases we deliver our products in dismounted status. We carefully choose the delivery service that is best to ensure that your order is delivered in premium condition. Installation can start if all the materials are prepared. If you do not need our installation service, you can ask for delivery of the materials only. We support you with an installation manual.

I have a cold room. Is it possible to convert it to a freezer?
We never propose it because there are lot of problems what come up. The insulation of a cold room is designed in most cases for 0/+5C, while a freezer works at –18C. The lower temperatures can cause frozen at the insulation and water condensing in outside of the freezer. The cooling system of freezers and cold rooms are different, because the working pressure and its equipment. It is not recommended to use cold room motors for freezing and vice versa.

What refrigerant do you use?
There are many types of refrigerant but the one generally used in our machines in R404a.

How is the temperature displayed on a cold room / freezer?
All controllers on cold rooms have an electronic display that will show the set point and running temperature.
